Love Returns, Only To Farewell Kasper

AS ONE Queensland cricket legend prepares to bring down the curtain on his career, another steps back into the spotlight for the Bulls next week.

Queensland's all-time leading run scorer Martin Love was yesterday named to play in the Pura Cup match against Western Australia, starting Monday at the Gabba.

It will be just the second first-class match this season for the 33-year-old, after completing a lengthy return from a knee reconstruction.

Love made a fruitless comeback in November when he scored 0 and 10 in the Pura Cup clash against the Warriors.

His return on Monday will coincide with the farewell first class match for paceman Michael Kasprowicz.
